The Client Services Senior Associate plays a crucial role in our day-to-day operations, reporting to the Team Leader Client Services. This role supports the wider team by managing client care and onboarding functions for the business.
This position is well-suited to a reliable and eager professional who can consistently meet a service level agreement. The ideal candidate will have skills in intermediary back office functions in a complex financial services business and be able to support the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the on-boarding process for new clients, counterparties and intermediaries.
- Perform AML/CTF checks and KYC due diligence.
- Assist with security and client static data maintenance.
- Ensure sign-off and control around all static data changes with relevant approvals.
- Prepare and distribute client documentation and take ownership of client queries.
- Answer client queries on the phone and via email.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of standard processes across the team.
- Coordinate seminars, training events and ad hoc tasks where required.
- Guide and mentor junior team members to build their knowledge and capability.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years relevant experience in financial services (preferably banking) or client services.
- Tertiary degree in business or other associated disciplines.
- Enthusiasm and a helpful attitude.
- Comfort with autonomy and new tasks.
- An interest in learning new tasks and skills.
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent people skills, with a willingness to exceed client expectations.
- Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to handle high-paced environment while delivering a high level of output at exceptional quality.
- Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and CRM solutions.
