About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Panthers Penrith. As a valuable member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and work with experienced mentors to achieve your career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist our chefs with food preparation and service, ensuring high-quality dishes are presented to our customers.
  • Support with larder and fryer duties, progressing to grill responsibilities as you develop your skills.
  • Contribute to the cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Assist with catering for various functions and banquets across the club, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Ensure the safe storage of products and adhere to relevant food health and safety legislation.
Requirements
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop your culinary skills, with a strong commitment to your position.
  • Punctuality and reliability, with a flexible attitude to work as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
