About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems that support large-scale machine learning research.

Your primary focus will be on developing robust tooling to streamline research workflows and optimize compute infrastructure (cloud and on-prem). You will work closely with researchers to integrate infrastructure solutions into their workflows, proactively identifying bottlenecks and creating scalable solutions for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement distributed training pipelines to accelerate experimentation and model training
  • Develop and maintain efficient tooling to streamline research workflows and optimize compute infrastructure (cloud and on-prem)
  • Partner with researchers to integrate infrastructure solutions into their workflows
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and create scalable solutions for long-term growth
Requirements
  • Strong background in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and infrastructure at scale
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with ML/AI tooling (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar)
  • Familiarity with containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience supporting high-performance or research-oriented computing environments
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, exploratory setting with a high degree of ownership
