Logistics Analyst Job Description

This role supports the Total Logistics Support Contract that GE Aerospace has with the Royal Australian Air Force to maintain the F414 Engines. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality logistics and supply chain solutions while driving lean processes to optimise inventory and support engine production.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to analyse inventory levels and support engine production. This will involve running and coordinating inventory reports across multiple tools, responding to customer inventory demands, and coordinating requests and transportation.

Additionally, you will track and monitor repair items to ensure program forecasts are met, coordinate international shipments, including customs clearance and delivery to domestic warehouses, and track freight movements and resolve any issues or delays.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in Logistics ideally covering imports and distribution
  • Australian Citizen at time of application
  • Possession of an Australian Defence Security Clearance – Baseline essential, NV1 preferable.
  • Skilled in ERP/SAP tracking systems. Knowledge of Defence Logistics advantageous however not essential.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities as well as excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency in using pivot tables, charts and graphs, knowledge of commonly used formulas, familiarity with conditional formatting and the ability to perform basic data analysis tasks
