Senior Project Manager Role

Overview: This role involves leading capital projects and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams to drive delivery and implementation of major capital projects.
  • Manage all aspects of projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, including scope, changes, resources, and chairing project management team meetings.
  • Assess interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
  • Participate in feasibility studies, vendor selections, and evaluations.
  • Define statements of work and specifications.
  • Monitor and control workstreams to resolve issues and dependencies.
  • Apply project and program management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Understand Process Safety Management requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering required (Chemical Engineering preferred).
  • 15-20 years of hands-on experience with capital project management in chemical manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at various stages.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong technical and data analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to learn new chemistries and processes.

Benefits:

  • Salary: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year.
