Role Overview:

This is a senior teaching position that focuses on mentoring and coaching staff to improve their classroom practices.

  • The successful candidate will have high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice, with a strong ability to model exemplary classroom practice and lead the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies.
  • They will work closely with school leadership to develop a shared view of highly effective teacher practice and provide evidence-based feedback to staff to inform their effectiveness and development.
  • Additionally, they will supervise and train student teachers, mentor and/or coach teachers, and develop and promote school-wide professional learning structures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing curriculum plans
  • Leading and managing teaching teams
  • Mentoring and coaching staff to improve their classroom practices
  • Providing feedback and guidance to staff
  • Supporting the development of school-wide policies and procedures
