Senior Project Manager Job Description

The key focus of this role is the acquisition and execution of complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering high-value, multi-year programs with multiple subcontractors and international supply chains.

This position involves strategic leadership, planning, execution, integration, and delivery of projects. The successful candidate will also provide guidance and support to stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Lead a highly motivated team of experienced engineers, technicians, and logisticians.
  • Collaborate with prime contractors and government agencies.
  • Monitor and manage sub-contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with defence standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in project management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • A traceable history of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Business acumen and budgeting skills.
  • A current NV1 AGSVA issued clearance.
