Candidates will have a deep understanding of technology practices and processes in the financial services industry, and are familiar with leading technology risk, security, and audit frameworks. This will enable them to identify, assess and monitor key IT risk areas that require improvement.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Oversight of all BAU technology risk and control activities for supported Tribes across Retail, Technology, COO, Enterprise, Wholesale Banking and Data.
  • Providing advice and challenge on decisions and processes regarding delivered technology risks and enhancement/development of technology controls.
  • Management of the Technology operational risk profile and IT control first line monitoring.
  • Monitoring and reporting (where needed) on the health of IT assets and the overall control environment for the Tribes/Centre of Excellence.

Certified in one or more of the following: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM. Experience in Risk Management and/or IT Security is essential.

Knowledge of Banking and relevant External Regulations, processes, procedures, and systems. Comprehensive understanding of IT General Computer Controls (ITGCs), Application-Level Controls, and technical Security Controls from industry frameworks such as NIST and CoBIT.

Technical understanding of the IT environment, including its architectural direction in context of risk management. Experience with the implementation of NFR Framework within business units or Cloud risk is an advantage.
