We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Wellbeing Professional to join our team at Frontline Education Northern NSW.

Casino is a small school located in the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales, offering a unique and supportive learning environment for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

The successful candidate will be based in Casino NSW, working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the school to provide high-quality support services to students and their families.

Key Responsibilities

The Student Wellbeing Professional will be responsible for:

  • Providing assessment, counselling, and consultancy services to students and/or their families.
  • Supporting school staff in recognising and addressing student's specific needs, including social, emotional, academic, and behavioural aspects.
  • Leading group workshops and programs for students and parents on topics related to social and emotional well-being.
  • Hosting special interest sessions for parents and students each term, focusing on issues impacting student's learning, behaviour, and emotional health.
  • Organising or carrying out educational psychological assessments for individuals or groups as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Social Work
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A Certificate IV in Counselling
  • Experience working with students and parents towards solutions
  • A high level of attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
