About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced front of house crew to join our team at Kisumé, a leading restaurant in Melbourne. As a Front of House Crew Member, you will work with a talented team of professionals to deliver exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience
  • Work effectively as part of a team to manage tables, take orders, and serve food and beverages
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our menu, wine list, and other products
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and cleaning the dining area
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience as a runner or waitstaff in a premium venue
  • Ability to confidently handle a section of 6-7 tables
  • Advanced food and wine knowledge is highly regarded
  • Passion for delivering outstanding service and a drive to succeed
  • Strong work ethic and a 'can do' attitude
  • Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Able and willing to work rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
  • Must have an RSA certificate
