About the Role
The State of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team in the Prison Health Services division. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership, governance, and case management for patients within our Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing leadership and clinical governance for the OST Program
- Develop and implement complex evidence-based care delivery across a continuum
- Coordinate business and materials management for the program
- Provide education and support for patients, families, and staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-focused care
Requirements
- Demonstrated advanced practice nursing skills and knowledge in credentialed scope of practice
- Leadership capability enabling the delivery and support of high-quality patient-focused care
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to educate and support patients and families with contemporary clinical information
- Knowledge of quality improvement frameworks and associated quality processes
