About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Habit Coach to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Habit Coach, you will play a vital part in enabling our participants to develop greater independence and work towards reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support NDIS participants in Peninsula and surrounding areas.
  • Work at participant's home or a community location, requiring travel to/from sessions.
  • Support participants across all ages and stages of life.
  • Implement therapy plans provided by primary therapists, such as Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Key Workers, or Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners.
What You'll Need
  • Be studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year).
  • OR have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification, with demonstrated experience in a similar position.
  • Have consistent and ongoing availability to work, including Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm.
  • Be available minimum two (2) days a week to support participants during their afternoon routines (3:30pm – 6:30pm).
  • Be open to travel to regional/surrounding areas.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Maintain clear focus on the goals and outcomes of our participants.
  • Act professionally and always follow company protocol.
  • Be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated passion for working within the disability sector and making a difference in people's lives.
  • A valid Australian drivers license and access to your own vehicle.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Working with Childrens Check.
