We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our Client Services team.

This role involves cultivating long-term relationships with clients, overseeing various projects, and ensuring the delivery of electrical and communication services. Central to this position is your ability to uphold high standards and enhance profitability and client satisfaction.

  • As the primary contact for clients, you will ensure their needs are met and projects and service works are delivered on time and within budget.
  • You will be responsible for managing financial reports and overseeing monthly client invoicing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • You will identify opportunities for account growth and generate new business within existing accounts.
  • You will lead and coordinate project and service teams to maximise efficiency and performance.
  • You will understand client needs and objectives and ensure the delivery of tailored solutions.
  • You will prepare and present regular reports on account status and performance.
  • You will estimate and tender on project and service work, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals.
  • You will resolve client issues and handle complaints in a timely manner.
  • You will stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSEQ standards.
  • Manage financial reports and oversee monthly client invoicing.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Lead and coordinate project and service teams.
  • Deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Estimate and tender on project and service work.
  • Resolve client issues.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years post trade electrical experience.
  • A Certificate IV in Project Management or Leadership and Management (or equivalent would be an advantage).
  • An Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
  • Cablers License (Preferred).
  • CPR & LV Rescue Certificate.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction.
  • A Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or a similar role.
  • Previous experience in job estimating and quoting.
  • Budget management experience.
  • A strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook) and familiarity with simPRO is considered a plus.
