Electrical Design Leader Opportunity

A seasoned electrical engineer is required to lead the delivery of electrical services across a diverse range of projects in various sectors.

This role demands a highly ambitious engineer with a strong technical foundation in electrical design, who can engage effectively with clients and lead project teams.

The ideal candidate will work on innovative, sustainable, and future-focused design solutions, manage client relationships, attend design meetings, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical services design and delivery across multiple building projects.
  • Manage client relationships, attend design meetings, and act as primary point of contact.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Contribute to business development by nurturing existing clients and supporting growth initiatives.
  • Oversee project documentation, coordination with other disciplines, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Drive innovation in energy efficiency, lighting, power distribution, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with 5–12 years' experience in building services consultancy.
  • Proven capability in leading electrical services design projects from concept to delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing experience.
  • Ability to manage teams, mentor junior staff, and coordinate across disciplines.
  • Commercially minded, with an interest in contributing to business growth.
  • Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or working towards this highly regarded professional designation.
