Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for assisting in delivering the best possible outcomes for our surgical patients.

This involves working autonomously and as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the surgical service.

  • Assisting with patient assessment, planning, and care
  • Setting up for and assisting in specialist surgical procedures
  • Conducting high-quality radiographs and other diagnostic tests
  • Providing pre- and post-operative care
Key Qualifications
  • Strong interest and experience in surgical procedures and patient care
  • Previous referral surgical nursing experience is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of a wide range of surgical procedures and pre- and post-operative patient care
  • Ability to work autonomously with exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
