Job Overview

Bay Building Services is seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to lead restoration projects and provide exceptional customer service.

About The Role
  • Site reporting, technical restoration, treatment, and cleaning of allocated sites.
  • Dealing with customers and utilising specialised restoration equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by conducting initial make-safe works, completing reports and technician duties, and liaising with internal office staff, project managers, external contractors, and clients.
  • Carry out installation, monitoring, and reporting of mitigation and restoration equipment.
  • Complete mould cleaning and fire wash down of relevant areas, including the usage of restoration chemicals.
  • Conduct steam-cleaning of carpets and complete inventory reports on restorable/non-restorable contents items.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Full Driver's License and Construction Induction Card.
  • Current Working with Children Check and police check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement).
  • IICRC qualification highly regarded.
Desirable Skills and Attributes
  • 2+ years experience in the Insurance Restoration industry or related field.
  • Experience managing multiple work sites.
  • Excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
