The Restoration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of restoration projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for site reporting, technical restoration, treatment and cleaning of allocated sites.

">About The Role

This multi-site based position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to utilize specialized restoration equipment.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and conduct initial make-safe works for water, mould, fire and other restoration related projects.
  • Complete detailed reports and technician duties for water damage, fire damage & mould projects, including installation, monitoring and reporting of mitigation & restoration equipment.
  • Carry out thorough mould cleaning and fire wash down of relevant areas using restoration chemicals.
  • Complete inventory reports on restorable/non restorable contents items and steam-cleaning of carpets.
  • Liaise with internal office staff, project managers, external contractors & clients and work closely with office-based project coordination teams, estimators/supervisors and managers.
  • Deliver high-quality, customer service focussed and WHS compliant restoration outcomes while adhering to company guidelines/policies.
  • Be available for on-call emergency work allocation (weekends & overtime).
">Qualifications
  • A current Full Drivers License and Construction Induction Card are required.
  • Current Working with Children Check and police check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) are essential.
  • IICRC qualification is highly regarded.
">Key Skills & Attributes
  • 2+ years experience in Insurance Restoration industry is highly desirable but training will be provided for those with less experience.
  • Experience managing multiple work sites and customer service skills are essential.
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
