Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development of our data products and solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data initiatives.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in product planning, development, and launch, with experience in data analysis, science, or engineering. They will have a solid understanding of user needs, market trends, and product lifecycle management.

The successful applicant will be able to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, and possess strong project management skills for developing and implementing data products.

They will also have a working knowledge of SQL and experience in complex data environments, as well as a solid understanding of agile principles and tools like JIRA.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and prioritize data engineering features and initiatives.
  • Review and prioritize the backlog for data engineering squads.
  • Ensure the quality, reliability, and governance of data used in the product.
  • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient product development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a product professional with a background in data-led product workflows.
  • Experience in product planning, development, and launch, with a strong understanding of user needs, market trends, and product lifecycle management.
  • Data-related experience in analysis, science, or engineering, with solid knowledge of data management, analytics, and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience in complex data environments.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills for developing and implementing data products.
  • Understanding of business goals and how to leverage data to achieve them.
