Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Banking and Finance Lawyer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Banking and Finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on complex finance transactions, including leveraged, acquisition and project finance, structured asset finance and general corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on cutting-edge deals in the banking and finance sector, both locally and internationally.
  • Work on a wide range of transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loan transactions, debt restructuring, and asset-backed and inventory facilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, arrangers, corporates, operating lessors and export credit agencies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality advice and solutions to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements

  • Australian qualified lawyer with 2-5 years post-admission experience from another reputable finance practice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic team player attitude.
  • Developed research and drafting abilities.
  • The desire to be part of a truly global advisory firm.
