Lead Trade Measurement Specialist

The Australian government seeks a senior trade measurement professional to lead a team in delivering quality outcomes from trade measurement services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously as part of a cohesive unit.
Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring trade measurement staff, establishing local inspection priorities, planning and implementing compliance programs, negotiating with stakeholders, and investigating breaches of trade measurement legislation.
Eligibility Requirements
- A current Australian driver's licence
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations
- Certificate IV in Trade Measurement
- A qualification demonstrating appropriate knowledge or experience to be appointed as a Trade Measurement Inspector
A merit pool may be established for future vacancies allowing the department to select candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and qualifications.
