Job Title: Fleet Administrator

The role is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with government regulations and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule vehicle repairs and routine maintenance with approved providers across state-wide operations
  • Liaise with the operations team to ensure the fleet is in good repair at all times
  • Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and adequate number of vehicles are available to effectively manage operations
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and compliance against vehicle regulations
  • Manage annual requirements to ensure vehicles are fully operable and compliant
  • Point of contact for building maintenance requests for the depot and head office
  • Provide reports and ensure prompt handling of all requests

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar fleet administration support role, knowledge of Department of Transport Passenger Transportation requirements is highly desirable
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with an excellent level of service delivery
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a high level of attention to detail
  • Computer literate and good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ability to pick up other databases/systems is also required
  • Flexible attitude with an ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
