Job Opportunity

We are seeking a professional to join our team based in Western Australia.

As the Vehicle Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a vital role as the first point of contact for drivers and customers to assist with any queries. This position will require you to ensure all drivers are able to perform their duties in a safe manner to deliver on client requirements.

The purpose of this role is to not only schedule routes for drivers but strategically plan to increase productivity and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate deliveries/collections to maximize run efficiency
  • Communicate accurate and timely information to all stakeholders
  • Proactively review route performance to identify optimization and improvement opportunities
  • Respond to customer issues that are of immediate operational concern with a solutions focus
  • Champion health and safety for all team members
  • Oversee driver fatigue management

Requirements:

  • A background in logistics is highly desirable
  • Understanding of heavy vehicles and scheduling is advantageous
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Cert IV in Logistics or Cert III in Waste Management is desired
