Fleet Coordinator Role

This is a permanent full-time position commencing soon. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Fleet Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

The Job Summary

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for overseeing fleet operations, ensuring compliance, and developing/maintaining policies. This includes managing information/knowledge sharing on contemporary vehicle management practices, providing timely assistance to stakeholders with vehicle information (for FBT calculations), and responding to parliamentary/ministerial enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop/maintain vehicle strategy through the creation of vehicle information systems, stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with vehicle management processes/procedures.
  • Monitor fleet operations and ensure compliance with relevant policies/procedures.
  • Manage information/knowledge sharing on contemporary vehicle management practices.
  • Provide timely assistance to stakeholders with vehicle information (for FBT calculations).
  • Respond to parliamentary/ministerial enquiries.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Solid knowledge/understanding of procurement/fleet management policies/practices in WA Government.
  • Practical experience in business/systems analysis, project management, and change management methodologies/processes.
  • Well-developed skills/experience in achieving outcomes/delivering quality products/services consistent with defined quality expectations, including timeliness.
  • Well-developed interpersonal/verbal communication skills to undertake consultation/collaboration/negotiation/build effective relationships with key internal/external stakeholders.
  • Well-developed written communication skills, including experience in contributing to reports/briefing papers/responses to Senior Executive/Ministerial/Parliamentary requests.
