Home Health Care Specialist

Aboriginal Home Health provides culturally appropriate care for our Elders, empowering them to live in their homes while receiving ongoing support. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the community, promoting the well-being of our clients.

  • Competitive hourly rate ($30.60 - $33.94) plus casual loading if applicable
  • Travel allowance of $0.92 per kilometre, plus paid travel time
  • Additional leave days for well-being, community, and deep listening
  • 14 weeks of paid parental leave, plus our Bump to Baby program
  • Equipment provided, including a smartphone, uniform, PPE, and Fitness Passport
Responsibilities:

This role involves performing personal care duties, such as showering, feeding, and toileting, and assisting with oral medication. The successful candidate will also provide social support, accompany clients to doctor appointments, shopping, and social outings, and assist with domestic tasks like cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation.
