Speech Pathologist Specialist

As a speech pathologist, you will play a vital part in ensuring all children have access to inclusive learning environments.
Performing environmental assessments using observation and interviews with parents and teachers, you will develop and implement interventions for students with speech, language and communication concerns.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, psychologists and occupational therapists, you will support students to maximise their educational outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in speech pathology from an Australian institution or equivalent, along with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and current working knowledge of paediatric speech pathology services.
This is an ongoing vacancy available in Alice Springs or Darwin, subject to negotiation with the successful applicant.
Selection will be made at the P1 or P2 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs to support student wellbeing and inclusion.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students' educational outcomes.
