**Role Overview:**The Capital Delivery department is a key area of focus for the City, and this role plays a pivotal leadership part in shaping and delivering its infrastructure capital works program.This position involves overseeing strategic planning, budgeting, phasing, prioritization, and execution to ensure transparent governance.
  • Provide strategic leadership of the Capital Delivery department, setting a clear vision and ensuring alignment with the City's strategic goals and long-term infrastructure roadmap.
  • Lead the development, prioritisation, and governance of the capital works program, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to community satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive project delivery excellence across the organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Corporate PMO to ensure adherence to standardised governance and foster a high-performing project management approach.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team by coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
**Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and bring extensive senior leadership experience in delivering major infrastructure programs, ideally within the public or local government sector.

You should be a proven leader of high-performing project teams with deep expertise in managing complex capital works from strategy through to execution.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
