Accounting Expert - Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS

As an expert in accounting, you will leverage your commercial acumen and technical expertise to drive positive outcomes for the organization. You will provide technically sound accounting advice, assess the impact of proposed new standards, and represent the company in the financial reporting community.

This key role requires a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with extensive experience in a technical accounting role. Your expertise in Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS is crucial in ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably with CA/CPA qualification
  • Extensive experience in a technical accounting role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong technical expertise in Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
