Senior Clinical Lead

Fed Care Clinic, the flagship clinic of Federation University Australia, is seeking a Senior Clinical Lead to oversee its operations and provide high-quality clinical leadership. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient running of services, including clinical and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the strategic planning of Fed Care services, ensuring continued growth and development
- Develop and implement strategies to address external issues in postgraduate training in psychology
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise to individual and group supervision of provisional psychologists
- Lead clinic operations, including client intake and allocations, using criterion and critical judgment
- Create a positive clinic culture and supportive environment for both clinical services and training
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled clinical leader who can apply expert technical knowledge and experience to problem-solve and make appropriate decisions. You will have comprehensive knowledge of placement and training requirements, consistent with APAC standards and relevant professional bodies.
Key requirements include:
- General registration as a psychologist, clinical endorsement with AHPRA, and Board Approved supervisor status with Psy BA
- Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and expertise
- Demonstrated experience working with and supervising cases across the lifespan
- Demonstrated experience supervising provisional and/or early career psychologists, including proven management of their progress and performance
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health services and referral pathways
All University positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
