Clinical Support Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Support Nursing team at Grampians Health Ballarat - Operating Suite.
As a Clinical Support Nurse, you will provide direct clinical support, mentor and support graduates to develop high-quality clinical care skills, and enjoy variety working across Operating Rooms, Anaesthetics, and the Post Anaesthetic Recovery Room.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership at a departmental level to foster a culture of facilitated learning.
- Liaise with senior staff to accurately identify registered nurses' educational requirements and clinical needs.
- Act as a clinical resource with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Work in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager to facilitate quality improvement activities and promote positive practice change supported by best evidence and research.
- Participate in senior leadership meetings and monthly staff meetings.
- Ensure educational needs are met within the department.
- Registered with APHRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1.
- Completed or willing to work towards a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Hold a minimum postgraduate certificate in Perioperative Nursing.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
