Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee engineering management for water and wastewater projects from design through to construction.
- Drive the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Coordinate and collaborate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, site managers, construction teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams ensuring they have the necessary resources, skills, and training to deliver on project objectives.
- Identify potential risks related to engineering and construction and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Support the growth of the water and wastewater team through mentorship and by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Proven experience in engineering management within the water and wastewater sector.
- Strong expertise in design and construct projects with hands-on experience in contractor-side delivery highly desirable.
- Background in mechanical engineering highly desirable with strong experience in design management.
- A passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks to drive project success.
- You will be a natural problem solver who enjoys solving complex problems and partnering with clients and project teams to provide innovative solutions.
