Project Managers lead infrastructure projects to deliver quality, cost-effective outcomes. They oversee multiple water-related projects, including stakeholder management, requirement gathering, business case development, project plans, and scope definition.

The role involves ensuring projects are completed within agreed timelines, budgets, and scopes while adhering to the organization's project management and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining project documentation
  • Maintaining up-to-date schedules and registers for risk, cost, and scope
  • Ensuring effective stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifying and mitigating corporate and project risks
  • Leading program development and delivery to achieve project outcomes

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Post-secondary qualification in project management or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, quality, safety, and environmental risk management practices
  • Proven understanding of project management methodologies and governance
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office, including MS Project
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • PMP, CPPM, or PRINCE2 accreditation (PMI, AIPM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of water supply operation and maintenance practices
