Heavy Machinery Technician

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team as a Heavy Machinery Technician. This role will involve carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on our large fleet of heavy machinery.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with diesel fitter or heavy vehicle trade qualifications. Additionally, the successful applicant will have demonstrated experience with 789 and 930E Trucks along with 600 & 800T Caterpillar, Hitachi, & O&K Excavators.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety standards
  • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve operational goals
  • Providing exceptional support to the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members

About the Role

As a Heavy Machinery Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. You will work closely with our maintenance team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.

Our Operations

Our fleet includes Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar 789C haul trucks, paired with Hitachi EX8000, Caterpillar 6060, and Hitachi EX3600 excavators. As a Heavy Machinery Technician, you will be working with these machines on a daily basis.
