Work Health and Safety Specialist

This role is a critical component of our organization's commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. As a Work Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of employees and clients in a remote community setting.
Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and maintaining effective health and safety policies and procedures. This includes conducting regular risk assessments, providing training and education on health and safety practices, and investigating incidents and near misses.
You will also be involved in promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing throughout the organisation. This includes working closely with management and staff to identify and address any safety concerns, and developing strategies to improve overall workplace health and safety outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also require a strong understanding of health and safety principles and practices, as well as the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
