Operations Excellence Role

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in driving excellence across our mine sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with rigorous safety standards and regulations
  • Provide direct leadership to employees and sub-contractors, allocating work priorities and managing workloads effectively
  • Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive team culture by engaging, coaching, and developing your team members
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing practices and encouraging employee participation
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills to drive positive change and support high-performing teams
  • A deep commitment to working safely and promoting a safe, healthy workplace environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and adapt to various communication styles
  • Proven experience in plant and machinery operation within a mining or heavy industry environment
  • Supervisory experience in an open-cut mining environment is highly desirable
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and similar systems and databases
  • Essential qualifications include S1, 2, 3 Supervisor and G2 Certifications
  • Current driver's license
