Water Infrastructure Design Lead

We are seeking a skilled water infrastructure design lead to enhance and develop our integrated water management design practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified engineer to provide civil or mechanical engineering services in an integrated engineering team.

  • Lead and manage challenging and complex water, storm water or wastewater projects across the entire lifecycle.
  • Provide civil or mechanical engineering expertise in project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including detailed design.

Strong skills in advanced modelling, hydraulics planning, and surge analysis are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for water infrastructure design.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on civil and mechanical engineering projects.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to build positive relationships.
  • Act as Project Manager on medium-sized projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Chartered member of Engineers Australia (CPEng).
  • Experience in civil or mechanical design and production of engineering documentation.
  • Design management experience on medium-sized projects.
  • Understanding of Safety in Design and risk assessment processes.
