Dispenser Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the Dispenser position in our pharmacy team. As a key member, you will support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in delivering safe and efficient pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe supply of medicines through prescription dispensing.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
  • Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as necessary.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures for the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
Requirements:
  • Hold a completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or be working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
  • Have a current and valid UK right to work (note: this role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa).
