About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in planning and executing field service work scopes.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Mobilize and demobilize teams as required.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Support the development of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans and quality control procedures.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to site teams and facilitate communication with engineering teams.
  • Participate in design review meetings to ensure field-related design considerations are incorporated.
  • Prepare and maintain subcontractor work packages and participate in short- and medium-term work planning.
  • Review and support data quality in our construction management software.
  • Identify, report, and document scope deviations, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor achievement of quality, schedule, and costs.

Requirements:

  • You must hold a university diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • You should have previous experience in supervising similar installations in the field of large hydro power projects or similar industries.
  • You must possess proficient technical knowledge of hydro power equipment and sound knowledge of project management best practices.
  • You should be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
