  • The Property Transactions Officer manages a range of property transactions, including land acquisitions and disposals, road openings and closings, easements and encumbrances, leases and licenses, and community land governance.

This role reports to the Team Leader Property Transactions and is responsible for projects and studies as directed.

About This Role">

Coordinating and facilitating property transactions involving Council's diverse property portfolio requires a comprehensive understanding of property legislation and tenure agreements.

This includes managing land acquisitions, disposals, easements, road closures, and openings in accordance with the Local Government Act.

">Key Requirements">
  • Property Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of property and public road legislation, with a strong focus on property tenure agreements and real property dealings.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, and ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking are essential for this role.
