The Manager - Procurement and Contract Management is a key role within the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) network.

As part of the Facilities Management and Infrastructure Division, this position is responsible for the management and delivery of procurement and contract management requirements.

The successful candidate will be involved in the tender process and facilitate the efficient procurement of works, goods, and services in accordance with the Procurement Act 2020 and Health Service requirements.

This role also involves providing management of the tender process, ensuring that all procurement activities are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The Manager - Procurement and Contract Management will work closely with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives and contribute to the overall success of the EMHS.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the needs of the organization
  • Managing tenders and contracts to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to secure the best possible outcomes for the organization
  • Providing expert advice on procurement matters to other teams and stakeholders
  • Ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in a transparent and accountable manner
