Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for delivering accurate and professional design deliverables.

The successful candidate will have strong technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proficient and accurate design input for mechanical drawings
  • Conduct timely reviews of project mechanical drawings to ensure full compliance with design intent
  • Perform accurate engineering design and calculations in accordance with project, client, and regulatory standards
  • Identify scope variations and prepare relevant documentation accordingly
  • Ensure correctly specified equipment is sourced to meet project deliverables
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 8 years postgraduate experience in Mineral Processing in a mechanical capacity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a high attention to detail
