Job Title: Senior Retail Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to support our team in delivering exceptional customer service and advice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and inspire your team daily to deliver world-class customer service and advice.
  • Support the Store Manager in coaching the team to achieve sales targets and develop their knowledge and skills.
  • Lead from the front to provide an exceptional customer experience and ensure the safety of the store, team members, and customers.
  • Assist in managing stock levels, visual merchandising, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Keep up-to-date on pet care, products, and services we offer and share this knowledge with the team.
  • Recruit, onboard, and induct new team members and contribute to a fun, supportive culture in-store.
  • Pro-actively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar store leadership role or readiness to take the next step in retail management.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing team and positive culture.
  • Resilience and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Able to create a positive safety culture and demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Established business acumen and flexibility to meet changing work conditions.
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills.
