Retail Operations Executive

The successful candidate will oversee retail operations, maintaining staff performance and driving financial objectives through strategic planning and effective leadership.
About the Role
This key position is responsible for managing retail operations, including point of sale software, stocktakes, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or Marketing Management and demonstrated experience in sales, operations, marketing, or retail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining staff performance by coaching, counseling, and developing employees.
- Driving financial objectives through budgeting, scheduling, and analyzing variances.
- Managing retail operations, including POS software, stocktakes, and inventory control.
- Formulating pricing policies and promoting merchandise effectively.
- Providing regular updates to senior management on departmental performance.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or Marketing Management.
- Demonstrated experience in sales, operations, marketing, or retail.
- Knowledge of organisational effectiveness, team working, and performance management.
- Experience with common business, financial, and human resource principles and practices.
- PC literacy and/or IT skills.
