Job Overview

We seek a Senior Building Surveyor to join our Code and Building Compliance team across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves supporting various projects, including large commercial buildings, airports, schools, and more.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will assess building designs against the National Construction Code/Building Code of Australia provisions and liaise with clients to prepare compliance reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess building designs against the National Construction Code/Building Code of Australia provisions
  • Liaise with clients to prepare compliance reports
  • Collaborate with clients to upgrade fire safety measures
  • Enjoy site visits to view project progression and completion
  • Prepare performance solution design verification reports

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
  • Post-graduate qualification in Building Surveying or related field, along with relevant industry experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detailed knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and Regulations
  • Familiarity with Work Health and Safety requirements
