Hotel Contract Portfolio Manager

The Hotel Contract Portfolio Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing a hotel portfolio. Key responsibilities include contract negotiation, supplier management, and market analysis.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Negotiating contracts that meet company requirements in terms of rates, allocations, commissions, and other key contracting criteria.
  • Identifying high-potential hotels within a destination and negotiating agreements according to business objectives.
  • Maximizing contract performance through tactical and special offers to achieve targets and drive business growth.
  • Minimizing losses as required.
  • Managing supplier relationships throughout the contract period.
  • Tracking and monitoring competitive pricing and availability in line with market demand.
  • Monitoring and analyzing production volumes to ensure adequate inventory aligns with business objectives.
  • Providing insights and advice to the Pricing and Revenue Management team to ensure maximum profit margin when necessary.
  • Identifying and addressing issues related to underperforming destinations.
  • Producing a monthly market report reflecting trends and product needs for senior leadership.
