Job Title: Pastry Sheeter/Dough Laminator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pastry sheeter/dough laminator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for making high-quality pastry dough, laminating and sheeting for the production of sausage rolls and triangles.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience working with pastry sheeters, folding and rolling pastry for a production line. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make pastry dough, dough laminating and pastry sheeting for production of sausage rolls and triangles
  • Prepare and organise for production
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
  • Optional duties: Package, label, and stack finished products for distribution
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and equipment
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience folding/rolling pastry using pastry sheeter (including automatic and manual sheeter)
  • Experience using a pastry sheeter with folding stages and rolling onto the pin
  • Ability to lift 25 kg minimum, repeatedly
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Immediate start
  • Driver Licence and own reliable vehicle are required
  • Baker by qualification and trade (Required)
  • Permanent Full work rights; sponsorship available for the right candidate
Benefits:
  • Full-time essentially, however permanent part-time role also available
  • Positive work culture with a strong emphasis on collaboration
  • Minimum 14 hours/week availability; full time 38 hours
  • Morning shifts: 6AM start (Tuesday and Thursday availability essential)
  • Weekdays only, no weekends or public holidays
  • Onsite car parking available; lockers provided
  • Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate
