Salary Package

We offer a competitive salary package for this part-time position, estimated at around $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

The Spiritual Care Advocate will provide quality spiritual care across multiple Eldercare sites to residents and their families who require support and guidance. This role recognises that each individual has their own unique spirituality, which may be expressed in different ways.

The successful candidate will work universally with people from diverse cultures, beliefs, practices and traditions. They will be available to lead public and informal rituals and services, as well as providing pastoral care and support to residents and their families.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Theology, Counselling, Social Sciences or equivalent
  • Completion of Clinical Pastoral Education unit or equivalent (preferred)
  • Member level of Spiritual Care Australian (preferred): eligibility essential
  • Awareness and understanding of diverse cultures, beliefs, practices and traditions
