About the Role

Babcock International Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Business Solutions team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch operational support for software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Support: Provide technical support for systems, networks, and technologies to ensure seamless use of our ERP platforms and business applications.
  • Software Development: Develop software enhancements to improve system capabilities and functionality.
  • Best Practices: Implement best practices to ensure efficient and effective system operations.
  • Reviews and Investigations: Conduct reviews and investigations to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
  • Advice and Guidance: Offer advice and guidance to colleagues to enhance system understanding and capabilities.
  • System Integration: Plan and manage system integration to ensure smooth operation of systems.
  • Business Change Support: Support business change initiatives to ensure minimal disruption to system operations.
  • Documentation: Produce and maintain operational, technical, and support documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship: Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
  • Experience: Experience and/or understanding of development, administration, and configuration experience in a global enterprise environment within multiple domains.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Proven ability to work both autonomously and in teams, with internal and external stakeholders, successfully delivering project and operational outcomes.
  • Technical Support: Experience providing technical support to multiple business sectors with a diverse application portfolio as well as understanding the business requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with end-users at all levels of the organisation, as well as external vendors.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills that allow you to pull together multiple resources and tools to understand and resolve complex IT issues.
