About the Role

Hydrogen Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of a Data Loss Prevention program of work. As a Sr. Business Analyst - Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a key role in gathering and documenting requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, review, analyse, validate, evaluate, and map business systems, processes, and user needs to translate them into requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Manage stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements, prioritise them, and ensure everyone understands business requirements to develop a fit-for-purpose solution.
  • Analyse documents, programs, logic, process flows, and specifications to model requirements using techniques like process mapping, story mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage the requirements lifecycle by prioritising requirements/user stories based on value, complexity, and feasibility.
  • Work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers, and Third-Party members to ensure a collaborative working relationship.
  • Identify risks and issues and develop effective mitigation/management strategies according to risk framework.

Requirements
  • Cyber Security project experience is essential.
  • Previous work using Microsoft Purview is highly desirable.
  • Experience in developing, tracking, and following up project plans and stakeholder tasks across the portfolio.
  • Project management documentation and coordination skills.
  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services desirable.
  • Ability to understand business functionality, business complexity, and interdependencies.
  • Highly developed strategic, analytical, problem-solving, issues management, and evaluation skills.
