Job Title: Lifestyle Coordinator

Come and join our Residential Aged Care team as the Lifestyle Coordinator. You will be responsible for developing, planning and implementing lifestyle activities and programs to ensure residents have choice in maintaining their social, psychological, recreational, cultural and spiritual wellbeing.

You will understand the importance of respect, trust and empathy and have the skills to empower Residents to make choices and decisions to help them live their best life.

About the Role:

  • Permanent Full time Position
  • Rewarding and challenging role

  • Monday to Friday role

To be successful for the role, you will have:

  • Ability to engage with residents and staff effectively
  • Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or similar
  • Previous experience managing a small team
  • Previous experience working within an aged care - advantage
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain on employment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate and able to complete documentation and reports
  • Be highly organised
  • Empathy for the elderly and disabled
  • COVID vaccinated
  • NDIS check or willing to obtain

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and implement lifestyle activities and programs to support resident wellbeing
  • Empower residents to make choices and decisions to help them live their best life
  • Manage and supervise small teams to achieve positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders
