Forensic Mental Health Administrative Assistant Opportunity

Your responsibilities will include efficiently managing patient health records and information, assisting with patient registration admission and discharge processes, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage patient health records and information, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Assist with patient registration admission and discharge processes, ensuring accurate data entry in CMI/RAPID.
  • Maintain patient lists and ensure documentation for admissions transfers and separations is completed promptly.
  • Manage the medical record tracking system and request medical records as needed.
  • Attend and document unit meetings, distributing minutes post-approval.
  • Scan forms and reports into JCare as required.
  • Enter data into CMI/RAPID with high accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience providing administrative assistance in health or mental health settings.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Working knowledge of RAPID (mental health database).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and sensitively with patients.
